Hi,
Could you please give more details about the error?
You can also see the eventviewer for the same.
Start --> Run --> Eventvwr --> Enter
Eventvwr --> Applications and Services (expand) --> Microsoft --> Windows --> Hyper-V VMMS logs (Operational, diagnostics)
then Hyper-V worker logs will give more details about the failure
Please post the error messages with the error codes so that we can get some clue of it
Regards,
Bala

Hello,
Please find the error from the eventlog
The Virtual Machine Management Service failed to start the virtual machine '20764B-MIA-DC' because one of the Hyper-V components is not running (Virtual machine ID F7D861CF-F42C-4309-8E06-AC9540D14C31).

Hi
Please ensure that the VMMS service is running and set to automatic in the Hyper-V server
Is this happening to all the VMs in that host?
If you have any anti-virus software, then you may need to have the exceptions for some files and folders

Hello,
Did you mean that the Hyper-V host is running on the VMWare Hypervisor?
If so, please view the following documentation.

Hi there,
I just encountered this problem myself. I fixed it by freeing up disk space on the drive where the VM is located on. 2.39GB free were not enough.
Hope this helps someone.

I had same issue. I solved by unmounting the CD/DVD. It was mounted to dvd iso on the network that was no longer accessible.
