How to install SCVMM agent on hyper-v server?

Hi,

Please let me know how can I install SCVMM agents on the Hyper-V servers from the SCVMM console? PLease suggest as I will be installing it for the first time in production environment.

In the Fabric section you "Add Host"

This action pushes the SCVMM Agent to the Hyper-V Server that you identify in the wizard and places that Hyper-V Server under management.

There is lots of documentation on this, as the process has not changed since the original release of SCVMM.

Hi Sir,

When you add a virtual machine host or a library server in a trusted domain by using the System Center Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) Administrator Console, VMM automatically installs an agent on that managed computer using the default settings.

If a host is on a perimeter network or is not joined to a domain that has a trust relationship with the domain that the VMM server is in, you must install an agent locally on the host before you can add the host to VMM.
