Error ID 2606 unable to acquire a Write lock on Object XXX of type HostFibreChannelHba because it is locked by task YYY

Hi Guys

We get this Error ID 2606 ' unable to acquire a Write lock on Object XXX of type HostFibreChannelHba because it is locked by task YYY' , this happens when trying to create a virtual SAN on the host via SCVMM 2016, Our hosts running hyper-v server 2016 core edition

So far following has done but without any luck

“select * from tbl_VMM_Lock” query brings zero output lines

Get-InitiatorPort gives two Fiber Link connections

Restarted SCVMM and Host , Removed Host from the SCVMM , re-added and Restarted

We would be grateful if someone from Microsoft/Expert can assist us to pass this bottleneck

Hi Andy

Thanks for the assistance , went through the link but still couldn't find records when query the SQL database with the task ID but it gives zero records for the query, so still trying to find the cause of this
