Why don't I see an account?

I use a university email and I don't see an account external to the university with which I want to have a conversation. In the same way, my account did not appear to them either.

Created a task from the Chat. I did not know it would mess up the post in chat. I can't reverse

I created the task, and then it messed up the chat for the rest of the team. So I delted the task, but the chat is still screwed up. If that is not reversible, this is a bad move MS. Also in the process I somehow deleted myself from the team.

Why don't my students' names appear in the chat box when I look them up?

When I try to send a chat to my students, their name does not appear in the To: line. I type part of their name and/or their whole name, but their names do not appear. District employess will appear, but not my students. Why is this? Thank you.
