BGInfo Not Listing Wireless Network Adapter IP Address

Question

I have noticed that BGInfo is failing to populate the IP address field on all our shopfloor Dell PCs that us Edimax wireless AC network adapters. However, it does populate the MAC address. Also missing the DNS and DHCP entries as well.

I'm using the latest Edimax drivers and I'm using BGInfo v4.26 which also appears to be the latest.

I see that BGInfo reports the MAC address twice and reports the network card name as Microsoft WiFi Direct Virtual Adapter while ipconfig reports correctly.

I've been using BGInfo for years and really appreciate it. On wired adapters I never see this problem but it's a different story on wireless.

Output from "ipconfig /all"

Hmm wasn't aware of this issue but I just tried it and I'm seeing the same thing. I've added it to the BGINFO backlog and will update the issue once it has been resolved.

Thanks for raising.

I think if you remove the description it works..

<Host Name>
<IP Address>
