Friends, I am trying on install SQL-Server 2008 R2 on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Service Pack 2. Its probably 32-bit operating system. Please guide me, i have tried to download from msdn site, but its not giving any option. Please share any valid link.

What Edition are you trying to install? Do you have subscription to msdn web site? If it is 32 bit OS, install SQL Server 32 bit as well.

BTW, you can download a free Edition of SQL Server 2008R2 named EXPRESS

Hi,
Recommend you to take a look at the following article which explains how to install SQL Server 2008 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2. However, the steps to install the SQL Server remain same. The prerequisites are different however on you start with the installation setup will prompt you with the requirements. Install SQL Server 2008 R2.
