I have multiple employees that access their personal email and several group mailbox account using office 365 and Edge. They choose to open the group mailboxes in their own window vs. working on behalf of the group mailboxes. I have one user (out of dozens) that is receiving the following message each time she opens her mailbox after switching from one of the group mailboxes.

She then is prompted to log into the Information deleted for privacy protection

. We have to say log in with a different account and then choose her account

We have run windows updates, edge is up to date and have cleared all her brower cache. It reproduces the issue when the computer goes to sleep as well

I never heard of this before, BUT, a friend just used my computer to make a new outlook account and I was right within ear shot. I was signed out and had even cleared history, cookies and such before my friend got onto my computer to do this.

I am using firefox. Anyway, she created her account while I was minding my own business and she asked what just happened. I asked what do you mean? She said it's saying something about switching to someone else's account after I made this one.

I went over to look and about panicked. It was switching her to MY SIGNED OUT ACCOUNT!!!

And this is 4/13/2026 and I see you guys are complaining from 2025 so I would say NOTHING has been fixed. But it better get fixed, this could ahve been a serious privacy issue for me, as well as those talking about personal accounts on a company computer!!!
