When I try to invite guest users from other region tenant(China) I got following error

User invitation failed
This invitation is blocked by cross-tenant access settings. Administration for both your organization and the inviting user's organization must be configured to allow invitations in cross-tenant access settings

Do I need to configure B2B collaboration setting?
I though I dont need to configure B2B setting for just guest invitation though........

But B2B collboration and guest invitation are two different thing
and here I want to invite guest users instead of B2B collaboration

I tested in my lab that to invite guest we dont need b2b setting
but trying to invite guest from other region tenant I am getting error so it mean we need b2b setting to invite guest users from other region??

With Microsoft Entra B2B collaboration, you can invite anyone to collaborate with your organization using their own work, school, or social account.

By default, B2B collaboration with other Microsoft Entra organizations is enabled so that's you it's not ask you to configure B2B collaboration but whenever you invite user from China that means invitations happens between across clouds by default there is no collaboration for this. You have to configure both organizations must enable collaboration with each other as described in Configure Microsoft cloud settings.
