Does Azure AD B2C replicate data across multiple datacenters within one region?

Is it possible for Azure AD B2C to replicate data across multiple regions?

    Hi@矢野 尭生

    Thank you for reaching us!

I understand your query about data replication in Azure AD B2C.

To answer your question Yes, Azure AD B2C replicates user data across multiple datacenters within the same region to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness. This helps ensure that your user data is always accessible and protected in the event of an outage or other interruption.

To answer your other question, Azure Active Directory B2C (Azure AD B2C) does not replicate data across multiple regions by default, because it can add latency to operations When data is replicated across multiple regions.

I hope this answer helps! If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

Can you claify that region here == North America, EU, APAC. correct? I just read a couple of articles and it said that data residency is North America, EU, etc. and B2C services are run globally and automatically failover. Hoever, B2C does not support data replication and failover between regions (North America to APAC).

The term "region" is confusing here. Can you please clarify it? Thanks
