Задайте значение KeyPressEventArgs.Handled , true чтобы отменить KeyPress событие. Это не позволит элементу управления обрабатывать нажатие клавиши.

При создании делегата KeyPressEventHandler необходимо указать метод, обрабатывающий событие. Чтобы связать событие с обработчиком событий, нужно добавить в событие экземпляр делегата.
