Thanks for reaching out. I'm here to help get to the bottom of it.
Before we get into the steps, I’d like to ask a few key questions.
- What is the exact make and model of your laptop or PC?
- What version and build of Windows 11 are you currently running? Go to Settings > System > About
- When the Wi-Fi disappears, does it vanish from Device Manager entirely, or just show as hidden, or show any error?
- Have you checked for any optional driver updates under Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates?
- Do you recall if this started after a Windows update, a BIOS update, or a system restore?
Let’s try the following steps while waiting for your answers.
Step 1) Go to the official support page for your laptop or motherboard. Download the exact Wi-Fi driver for your model, like Intel, Realtek, MediaTek, etc.
Uninstall the current driver from Device Manager, check “Delete the driver software for this device” if shown, then reboot and install the downloaded driver.
Step 2) Open Device Manager > Network adapters > right-click your Wi-Fi adapter > Properties
Go to the Power Management tab, uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”
Step 3) Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable
Uncheck “Turn on fast startup,” save, and reboot
Step 4) Run the Network Reset if not already done
Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset
This will remove and reinstall all networking components. Reboot after it completes.
Let me know how it goes. I’ll stay with you until this is fully resolved.
