If I get correctly, you have not been able to receive any emails that are older than three months. To help isolate the issue more effectively, I would like to ask you a few quick questions

1. Are you using Outlook Web, Outlook Desktop, or a mobile app?
2. What email provider are you using? (For example: @gmail.com, @yahoo.com etc.)
3. Are all emails older than three months missing, or just from specific senders or folders?
4. Have you checked the Archive, Deleted Items, or Junk Email folders?
5. Are you using any custom filters, rules, or focused inbox settings?
6. If you are using the Outlook desktop app, how many months or years of emails is it set to download and keep on your device? (You can check this under: File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Change > Mail to keep offline)
7. Have you recently reached or exceeded your mailbox storage limit?
