Hello @Barbara Gherra ,
Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.
From the description you posted, it seems you're using a Microsoft 365 Personal, which is tied to a personal Microsoft account. However, the email you received refers to a Microsoft Entra ID tenant, which is typically used for business or organizational accounts.
If you're only using Microsoft 365 Personal and don't use Azure or business services, you can ignore the message. Your personal subscription and data (like OneDrive, Outlook) will not be affected. This does not affect your personal Microsoft 365 subscription. Your Microsoft 365 Personal account is separate from the Entra ID tenant. However, if you accidentally signed up for a business trial or used a business feature that created a tenant, then that tenant is now idle, and Microsoft is warning it will be deleted unless you upgrade or purchase a business plan. You can delete the Tenant if not needed. To do this
- Go to https://entra.microsoft.com
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Switch to the tenant using the dropdown in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Microsoft Entra ID > Overview > Delete tenant.
If you have no intention of using Enterprise Microsoft Services, you can ignore the notice entirely.
Best Regards.
