Examples

Create a URL path map with a rule.

az network application-gateway url-path-map create -g MyResourceGroup --gateway-name MyAppGateway -n MyUrlPathMap --rule-name MyUrlPathMapRule1 --paths /mypath1/* --address-pool MyAddressPool --default-address-pool MyAddressPool --http-settings MyHttpSettings --default-http-settings MyHttpSettings

Required Parameters

--gateway-name

Name of the application gateway.

--name -n

Name of the URL path map.

--paths

Space-separated list of paths to associate with the rule. Valid paths start and end with "/", e.g, "/bar/". Support shorthand-syntax, json-file and yaml-file. Try "??" to show more.

--resource-group -g

Name of resource group. You can configure the default group using az configure --defaults group=<name>.

Optional Parameters

--address-pool

Name or ID of the backend address pool to use with the created rule.

--default-address-pool

Name or ID of the default backend address pool. It is mandatory unless target type is redirection.

--default-http-settings

Name or ID of the default HTTP settings. It is mandatory unless target type is redirection.

--default-redirect-config

Name or ID of the default redirect configuration.

--default-rewrite-rule-set

Name or ID of the default rewrite rule set.

--http-settings

Name or ID of the HTTP settings to use with the created rule.

--no-wait

Do not wait for the long-running operation to finish.

Accepted values: 0, 1, f, false, n, no, t, true, y, yes
--redirect-config

Name or ID of the redirect configuration to use with the created rule.

--rewrite-rule-set

Name or ID of the rewrite rule set. If not specified, the default for the map will be used.

--rule-name

Name of the rule for a URL path map.

Default value: default
--rules

Path rule of URL path map resource. Support shorthand-syntax, json-file and yaml-file. Try "??" to show more.

--waf-policy

Name or ID of a web application firewall policy resource.

When using 'set' or 'add', preserve string literals instead of attempting to convert to JSON.

--created

Wait until created with 'provisioningState' at 'Succeeded'.

Default value: False
--custom

Wait until the condition satisfies a custom JMESPath query. E.g. provisioningState!='InProgress', instanceView.statuses[?code=='PowerState/running'].

--deleted

Wait until deleted.

Default value: False
--exists

Wait until the resource exists.

Default value: False
--gateway-name

Name of the application gateway.

--ids

One or more resource IDs (space-delimited). It should be a complete resource ID containing all information of 'Resource Id' arguments. You should provide either --ids or other 'Resource Id' arguments.

--interval

Polling interval in seconds.

Default value: 30
--resource-group -g

Name of resource group. You can configure the default group using az configure --defaults group=<name>.

--subscription

Name or ID of subscription. You can configure the default subscription using az account set -s NAME_OR_ID.

--timeout

Maximum wait in seconds.

Default value: 3600
--updated

Wait until updated with provisioningState at 'Succeeded'.

Default value: False
