Required Parameters
The location where the email service stores its data at rest.
The name of the EmailService resource.
Name of resource group. You can configure the default group using az configure --defaults group=<name>
.
Optional Parameters
The geo-location where the resource lives When not specified, the location of the resource group will be used.
Do not wait for the long-running operation to finish.
Resource tags. Support shorthand-syntax, json-file and yaml-file. Try "??" to show more.
Global Parameters

One or more resource IDs (space-delimited). It should be a complete resource ID containing all information of 'Resource Id' arguments. You should provide either --ids or other 'Resource Id' arguments.

Optional Parameters
Total number of items to return in the command's output. If the total number of items available is more than the value specified, a token is provided in the command's output. To resume pagination, provide the token value in --next-token
argument of a subsequent command.
Token to specify where to start paginating. This is the token value from a previously truncated response.

Send an email from an existing domain
az communication email send --sender "[email protected]" --subject "Contoso Update" --to "[email protected]" "[email protected]" --text "Hello valued client. There is an update."
Required Parameters
Sender email address from a verified domain.
Subject of the email message.
Optional Parameters
List of email attachment types and inline attachment types, in the same order of attachments followed by inline attachments. Required for each attachment. Known values for attachments are: avi, bmp, doc, docm, docx, gif, jpeg, mp3, one, pdf, png, ppsm, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx, pub, rpmsg, rtf, tif, txt, vsd, wav, wma, xls, xlsb, xlsm, and xlsx.
List of email attachments. Optional.
Blind carbon copy email addresses.
Carbon copy email addresses.
Communication connection string. Environment variable: AZURE_COMMUNICATION_CONNECTION_STRING.
Indicates whether user engagement tracking should be disabled for this specific request. This is only applicable if the resource-level user engagement tracking setting was already enabled in control plane. Optional.
Html version of the email message. Optional.
The importance type for the email. Known values are: high, normal, and low. Default is normal. Optional.
List of inline attachments. Optional. Format: FileLocation/ContentId example: "ImageName.png/image".
Reply-to email address. Optional.
Plain text version of the email message. Optional.
Recepients email addresses comma seperated if more than one.
Indicates whether to wait until the server operation is started or completed. Accepted values are: started, completed, 1, 0.
