Hi,

>DS Alert: Windows DNS - NSLookup Failed for Zone's NS Record
I want to confirm with you that where do you receive this message? A 3rd party tool, or system Event log?

The NS resource record facilitate delegation by identifying DNS servers for each zone. Whenever a DNS server needs to cross a delegation, it will refer to the NS RRs for DNS servers in the target zone. Format as below:
Resolve From - Domain Name (same as parent folder)
Resolve to - Host Name

As the message displayed, it failed to find the NS record. I would recommend you to remotely connect to this core server from another Server with a GUI, to check the NS RRs on the zone, is there is any missing or wrong.

If the problem persists, only based on “Source: Boston.com on VHATUC1.com.Path: VHATUC3DC1.com” I am unable to identify your ZONEs configuration. Please provide more information to further identify this problem.

Best Regards,
Eve Wang
