sqlncli_ia64.msi is NOT for Intel / AMD compatible CPUs.  Proper driver for Intel 64 bit is sqlncli_amd64 (note that 64 bit design is originally from AMD, even Intel refers to it as "amd64".

"IA-64" refers to Intel Itanium CPU line, which was a non-X86 proprietary design; it was discontinued by Intel last year.
