I have apparently been added to an organization in Microsoft Azure. I don't know anything about this organization. I am unable to leave it because it's set as my default organization. There is also no admin to contact in order to be removed.

How do I leave this organization?

    Hello CuongDoHung!

The "default" organization in the Azure portal is only the startup directory. You can change it in Portal settings > Directories + subscriptions > Startup directory. That doesn't remove you, it just stops the portal opening in that tenant.

    • This isn't relevant to my question.

To actually leave, go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com and open Organizations. If you sign in with a personal account (Outlook, Hotmail, Gmail), use https://myaccount.microsoft.com?tenantId=sprakowka.onmicrosoft.com in a private window instead. Find the school under "Other organizations you collaborate with" and select Leave.

    • You didn't read my question. I can't 'leave'.

If you get a message telling you to contact the admin, that organization doesn't let guests leave on their own, and only their admin or privacy contact can remove you. If the school shows up as your Home organization, the account itself belongs to that tenant, and again only their admin can remove it.

    • You didn't read my question. There is no admin. It was some scam account that added me. It was shut down, there are no people because it no longer exists. There is no-one to contact.

Also, you might want to edit the question and remove the organization ID. It isn't needed here.

    • Done.

    Hi Todd,

Two different things are mixed here.

    1. The "default" organization in the Azure portal is only the startup directory. You can change it in Portal settings > Directories + subscriptions > Startup directory. That doesn't remove you, it just stops the portal opening in that tenant.

If you get a message telling you to contact the admin, that organization doesn't let guests leave on their own, and only their admin or privacy contact can remove you. If the school shows up as your Home organization, the account itself belongs to that tenant, and again only their admin can remove it.

Also, you might want to edit the question and remove the organization ID. It isn't needed here.
