Greetings i am finding it hard to implement my stripe atlas azure credits into my Microsoft azure account. according to the steps here in the guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/startups/microsoft-for-startups/application?tabs=NoInvestor, i completed step 1 and 2 but when i get to step 3 instead of being greetings with a $200 credits offer to connect my Linkedin account i get the the message "You're not eligible for the Microsoft for Startups credit offer" even though i followed the step 1 and 2 do you know why, use the images attached to understand how my dashboard looks like, keep in mind that i created the Microsoft azure account the day before this message.Screenshot 2026-10-26 112750

i did get the $200 credit option as a notification (use this info if it relevant in the question) Screenshot 2026-10-26 121810

do you know what i can do to ensure that i am eligible for to redeem my start up credits from stripe atlas, is it perhaps i have entered the wrong details or my authentication process implementation was wrong? i need advice Screenshot 2026-10-26 113340

Likely cause: your account failed one of the offer eligibility checks (account type/profile history/verification), not a LinkedIn "implementation" issue. From the Microsoft for Startups flow, this path requires a personal Microsoft account and then Azure account setup under that same path; if eligibility checks fail, the credit offer won't activate automatically.

    1. Re-verify the exact sign-up path and account type.
      • Use the official no-referral path and sign in with a personal consumer Microsoft account (not work/school account).
      • In that flow, complete Verify with LinkedIn first, then Azure account profile/address/payment setup.
      • Why: account-type mismatches or mixed sign-in sessions are a common reason for eligibility failure.
    2. Confirm whether you already have a conflicting/previous Azure offer on the same identity.
      • The program guidance says to use a personal account with no prior Azure account in this onboarding flow.
      • If you tested multiple sign-ins, use an InPrivate window and repeat once with only the intended personal account.
    3. Ignore the Microsoft Teams confusion in this context.
      • Teams is not required to redeem Microsoft for Startups credits.
      • Focus on the Build your startup dashboard and credit-offer flow.
    4. If the portal still shows “not eligible”, collect evidence and request program-side review.
      • Capture: timestamp (UTC), account email used for sign-in, screenshot of the eligibility message, and the page URL.
      • Ask for an eligibility re-check for Stripe Atlas benefit activation under Microsoft for Startups.
    5. Billing/safety note.
      • If an unintended Azure subscription was created while retrying, cancel it to avoid unexpected charges.
