I would like to associate my Microsoft certification with my employer. How can I accomplish that if I took the certification test using my personal Microsoft login?

Sign in to your employer’s Partner Center with your work account, then link the Microsoft Learn profile containing the certification by authenticating with your personal Microsoft account.

    1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn with your personal Microsoft account.
    2. Select your profile avatar, then Profile → Transcript, and verify that the certification appears there.
    3. Sign in to the Partner Center page for Learn profile linking with your employer-issued work account.
    4. Under Overview, select the Microsoft Learn tab.
    5. Select Link Microsoft Learn Profile.
    6. When prompted to authenticate the Learn profile, use the personal Microsoft account that contains your certification, not the work account.

Microsoft Learn-to-Partner Center linking supports both personal and corporate Learn accounts; what matters is selecting the Learn profile containing the credential. The certification does not need to be transferred to your work login.^1^

    Requirements and timing

    • Your employer must be enrolled in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.
    • You need a Partner Center user created with your official work email. Ask your organization’s Partner Center administrator to create one if you cannot access the membership workspace.
    • No specific Partner Center role is required to link your own profile.
    • Certifications and assessments can take up to 10 days to appear and count toward your organization’s skilling score.^1^
    • Each employee must link their own profile; an administrator cannot link profiles on users’ behalf.

If the profile is linked to another employer

From the same Microsoft Learn tab in Partner Center, select Unlink beside the linked profile, then link it to the new employer when eligible. Linking to a new company automatically removes the previous association.

Linking and unlinking are limited to three operations per year, with a 30-day waiting period after linking before another link can be made.^1^

If the credential is visible in your Learn transcript but still absent from Partner Center after 10 days, contact Partner Center support with the affected work account and Learn profile details.
