Artifact Signing organization validation failed without explanation

We are setting up Azure Artifact Signing Public Trust for Transcensus Ltd, a UK company, to sign the ScriptCue Windows app.

  • The organization validation request was submitted on 1 October 2026.
  • Microsoft requested completion of identity verification that evening.
  • On 4 October, Microsoft emailed that the request had failed.
  • The portal still shows Failed. The details panel now loads but gives no failure reason or requested document.
  • We cannot confirm whether the personal verification flow was completed successfully.
  • Our Basic Azure support plan blocks a private technical support ticket.

How can we obtain the specific failure reason and determine whether the issue is personal identity verification, company validation, or something else? Should the existing request be reviewed, or should we create a new request after correcting the cause?

We can provide the validation and subscription identifiers privately through an official secure channel.

    Hi Augusto,

Since the portal does not show why the validation failed, only Microsoft's Artifact Signing validation team can confirm whether the issue relates to personal identity verification or company details.

I recommend requesting a review of the existing validation before submitting another application. As your Basic support plan prevents opening a technical ticket, you can ask a Microsoft Q&A moderator to help route the issue to the appropriate validation team.

Please share your validation ID and subscription details only through a secure Microsoft support channel.

Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
