Hello,

I recently activated my Azure for Students subscription and initially had $100 in available credit. A few days later, the available credit decreased to $86.

I have not created or used any Azure resources or services. In the Azure portal:

  • Current costs are shown as $0.00.
  • Cost Analysis shows no reported costs.
  • There are no deployed resources in the subscription.
  • There are no invoices.
  • The Azure troubleshooting tool also states that no currently deployed resource explains the decrease.

However, the Education overview now shows only “$86 out of $86” instead of the original $100 credit.

Could you please explain why the total Azure for Students credit itself appears to have changed from $100 to $86, despite there being no recorded usage or charges? Is this possibly related to currency conversion, regional pricing, or the way the Azure for Students credit is displayed?

Thank you.
