A Microsoft offering that enables tracking of cloud usage and expenditures for Azure and other cloud providers.
Hey there, Hiren patel
When you convert an Azure Free Trial subscription to a pay-as-you-go subscription, the conversion is usually completed quickly. Although it can sometimes take a longer to be reflected throughout the portal. This behaviour is documented in this article here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/upgrade-azure-subscription#upgrade-your-azure-free-account
To check whether the upgrade request was successful, please can you check the notifications in the Azure portal by selecting the bell icon at the top of the page.
If you see a notification confirming that the subscription has been upgraded, this suggests the conversion has completed, but the portal may not yet have updated everywhere.
It would be worth signing into your account on the subscriptions page on the Cost Management & Billing blade here: https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_GTM/ModernBillingMenuBlade/~/Subscriptions
Please open the subscription and check the Offer field.
Do you still see Free Trial listed there?
In a standard Free Trial to pay-as-you-go upgrade, the existing subscription is normally retained and the offer changes from Free Trial to pay-as-you-go. If the offer still shows Free Trial, please allow up to 24 hours for the conversion to complete and for the portal to fully reflect the change.
If this is still the same, please allow up to 24 hours to see if it is a backend sync issue converting the subscription. If it doesn't change tomorrow, then it would be worth troubleshooting this further.
Hope this helps,
Nathan
