A Microsoft offering that enables tracking of cloud usage and expenditures for Azure and other cloud providers.
The screenshots show a disabled Azure subscription caused by non-payment, but the Settle Balance page shows no current outstanding charge. The supported next steps are:
- Wait up to 24 hours after payment or balance settlement. Azure states that subscription reactivation can take up to 24 hours after the balance is paid.
- If the subscription is still disabled after 24 hours, check whether resource operations are delayed. After reactivation, Azure notes there can still be a delay in creating or managing resources. If that delay exceeds 30 minutes, contact Azure Billing Support.
- If payment is still failing or the portal is inconsistent, verify the payment method.
For payment issues such as card denial or save errors, check that:
- the card has sufficient balance
- international transactions are enabled
- recurring payments are allowed
- the card has not hit its credit limit
- If the portal does not respond correctly when changing or confirming payment details, sign out of all Azure sessions and retry in an InPrivate browser session. The documented alternatives are:
- refresh the browser
- use another browser
- delete cached cookies
- If the subscription remains disabled and no outstanding balance appears, create a support request with Azure Billing Support / Subscription Management. The documented guidance is to contact support when reactivation does not complete or when the subscription cannot be reactivated by self-service.
