Azure Artifact Signing organization identity validation blocked by AU10TIX Verified ID failure

I am trying to complete Public Organization Identity Validation for Microsoft Azure Artifact Signing for my Belgian company, M&A CONSULT BV.

The Artifact Signing account was created successfully and the organization identity validation reached the Microsoft Verified ID / AU10TIX verification stage.

I successfully completed the AU10TIX process, including:

  • Email verification
  • Phone verification
  • Identity document verification
  • Facial/selfie verification

However, at the end of the process I received the following message:

“Sorry, you do not meet requirements to create a Verified ID at this time.”

No reason or error code was provided.

I contacted AU10TIX Support and received support request 00086872. This request was acknowledged 12 days ago. I have also sent a follow-up, but I have received no substantive response.

My Azure subscription has the Basic support plan. Therefore, although the Azure Portal correctly identifies the issue as Artifact Signing – Identity Validation – Organization / Validation Failed, I cannot submit a technical Azure support request.

This is causing a business impact because we need Artifact Signing to digitally sign our Windows application. The unsigned application is currently being blocked by Windows Smart App Control on customer computers.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate this issue to the appropriate Artifact Signing / organization identity validation / Microsoft Verified ID team and have the existing validation reviewed?

Please advise whether the existing identity validation can be unblocked or reset, or what specific action is required to complete the verification.

I can provide the Artifact Signing account name, Azure subscription ID, identity validation ID, screenshots and organization documentation privately through a secure Microsoft channel if required.

I do not want to create a duplicate identity validation request unless Microsoft specifically instructs me to do so.

    Thank you for your response.

The problem is that I currently do not have access to a secure Microsoft technical support channel.

My Azure subscription has the Basic support plan. When I select Artifact Signing → Identity Validation – Organization / Validation Failed in the Azure Portal, Microsoft does not allow me to submit a technical support request because technical support is not included in the Basic plan.

I am therefore unable to securely provide the Artifact Signing account details, validation ID and screenshots you requested.

The existing AU10TIX support request is 00086872, but I have still not received a substantive response from AU10TIX.

Could you please advise how I can open a secure Microsoft support channel for this identity-validation issue, or could a Microsoft moderator escalate this Q&A case internally to the Artifact Signing / Verified ID team?

I am ready to provide all requested account and validation details privately as soon as Microsoft provides a secure channel.

    Hello,

This issue appears to be related to the Microsoft Verified ID / AU10TIX validation stage of Azure Artifact Signing.

Since the email, phone, identity document, and facial verification were completed successfully but the process still returns “you do not meet requirements to create a Verified ID,” I recommend asking Microsoft to review the validation status on the backend.

The existing AU10TIX support request should also be referenced rather than creating a duplicate request. The Artifact Signing support team may need to coordinate with the Microsoft Verified ID/AU10TIX team to determine why the validation is blocked.

Please provide the support team with the Artifact Signing account details, validation ID, screenshots of the error, and the existing support request number through a secure support channel.

I hope this helps clarify the next step.
