Hello Microsoft Credentials Support Team,

I would like to request assistance in recovering my Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification record/certificate.

I previously obtained an MTA certification, but I no longer have access to the email account that was associated with my certification. As a result, I am currently unable to access or download my certificate from my Microsoft Credentials profile.

Here are the details I can provide for verification:

  • Full Name: Ayunda Lintang
  • MTA Exam Name: networking fundamentals
  • Approximate Exam Year: 2021

I would like to know whether my previous MTA certification record can be located and associated with my current Microsoft account/email address, or whether there is another way for me to obtain a copy of my certificate.

I am willing to provide any additional information required to verify my identity and certification history.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance on how I can recover my certification record.

Best regards,

Ayunda Lintang

For an older MTA certification tied to an email account that is no longer accessible, the supported path is:

    1. Try to sign in to Microsoft Learn with any other login accounts that may have been used when registering for the exam, including a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account.
    2. Review whether the credential appears in the Learn profile under the Certification Dashboard. Certificates can be accessed from the dashboard through View Certificates.
    3. If the certification is missing, confirm that the credential was earned under the expected profile. Microsoft notes that users with multiple Learn profiles or different login accounts may be signing into the wrong profile.
    4. If access to the original personal Microsoft account has been lost, use Microsoft account self-service recovery options such as the Sign-in Helper, username lookup, or password reset. Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover personal Microsoft accounts and cannot transfer or restore the contents of a Learn profile that cannot be accessed.
    5. For additional help locating a missing credential or certificate, contact Microsoft Credentials Support.

Important limitation: some older exams and certifications have aged out of the Certification Program and are no longer available in customer Learn profiles.

If the MTA was earned through Certiport, those exams and certifications are not currently reflected in the Microsoft Learn profile and must be managed separately through the Certiport user account.
