How to recover norton code account

If the Norton entry was backed up in Microsoft Authenticator, it should restore as a 30-second one-time password account. Third-party accounts such as Amazon, Facebook, or Gmail are restored this way, and the password codes are available once restored.

If it did not appear on the new phone:

1. Verify the backup was enabled on the old phone.
2. Make sure the restore is being done with the same recovery account.
3. Make sure the new phone is the same device type as the old one. Backups from iOS cannot be restored to Android, and Android backups cannot be restored to iOS.
4. If using iPhone, on the old device enable:
   • iCloud Drive
   • iCloud Keychain
   • iCloud Backup
   • In Saved to iCloud, confirm Authenticator is turned on
5. On the new device, uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Authenticator, then try restore again.

If the backup cannot be restored for any other reason, the account must be added again in Authenticator.

If the old phone was reset and no cloud backup exists, the Authenticator entry cannot be recovered from Microsoft Authenticator. In that case, use another sign-in or recovery method offered by Norton, then set up the account again in Authenticator.
