One drive is stuck on 90 files and 7.9 GB remaining (0)% the task bar cloud has 2 blue arrow circle. all of the files have a red number, most are in the 80-'s, but also many say 7f, which I was told meant my one drive is full, which it should not be. I have a 365 account.

    Hello,

If you have an Office 365 Subscription (Personal or Family), you should have received 1 TB of OneDrive Cloud Storage in your account.

Check whether your OneDrive Storage is full and whether you're about to exceed the1 TB storage limit

    • Right-Click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar, select Settings.
    • In the bottom left corner of the screen, you should see the total storage used and the remaining storage available.

    (OR)
Visit the https://onedrive.live.com/?v=managestorage link and sign in with your Microsoft account in a web browser.

Share a screenshot of the page so I can check whether you've exceeded the storage limit provided to you.

The two blue circular arrows mean OneDrive is still processing changes. Since it is stuck at 90 files / 7.9 GB remaining and showing 0%, the most likely causes supported here are:

    1. OneDrive is processing a large amount of data
If many files are being synced, OneDrive can stay on processing for a while.
    2. A large file is blocking sync
Very large files such as ZIP archives, long videos, or Outlook PST/OST files can cause OneDrive to stay on Processing changes. Move large Outlook data files out of OneDrive, or stop syncing folders that contain very large files.
    3. A file is open or locked
Close any file that is currently open, then wait and check whether OneDrive resumes syncing.
    4. Unknown or hidden files are blocking sync
Select the OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar to view files that are open, syncing, or recently synced.
    5. Storage may actually be full
If OneDrive storage is full, OneDrive cannot upload, edit, or sync new files. Existing files remain read-only. In OneDrive on the web, open Manage your OneDrive storage or Storage used to check what is taking space, empty the Recycle Bin, and confirm the account is under quota.

For a personal Microsoft 365 account, OneDrive can report full because:

    • the storage quota was exceeded,
    • a shared folder pushed the account over storage,
    • the subscription expired or renewal failed,
    • a storage promotion expired.

    Recommended order:

    1. Click the OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar and check whether it names a specific sync problem.
    2. Close any open Office, PDF, or other files stored in OneDrive.
    3. Check OneDrive storage online and empty the Recycle Bin if needed.
    4. Look for very large files, especially ZIP, video, PST, or OST files, and move them out of OneDrive if present.
    5. If it still stays on Processing changes, use Unlink and re-link OneDrive to reset sync.

If the account is over quota, OneDrive will not sync new files until storage is reduced or more storage is added.

If self-service steps do not clear it, personal account support is available through Contact Microsoft Support in Get Help.
