A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hello,
If the problem occurs specifically when editing OneDrive files and your local files work normally, here's what to check first.
1
Try resetting OneDrive.
You can follow the steps in the article below to reset it.
2
If you are still having issues, I recommend unlinking your Microsoft account from OneDrive and then relinking it again. To do that,
- Right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar, select Settings.
- Then, go to Accounts > Unlink this PC.
- Restart your PC and then link your Microsoft account.
- Wait for OneDrive to finish syncing all your files.
Then, open the OneDrive folder from File Explorer.
Double-click the Word file that you wanted to edit.
See if it opens normally. (OR) Just drag the file into your local folder, then try opening it from there.
If you are experiencing the same issue with all of your files, you can try repairing Office applications
- (Online Repair).
Let me know if you still need more help.
