    Hi!

If you changed it on your computer, you don't need to change the password again on your phone; just sync again using the new password.

    iPhone

    1. Open Outlook for mobile > Click on the user photo icon > Look for the gear icon (Settings) > Accounts > Select your account > Remove Account.
    2. Open your iPhone's Settings > Look for the Accounts, Accounts & Sync, or similar option > Find your Hotmail or Microsoft account > Remove the account.

    Android

    1. Open Outlook on your mobile device > Tap your profile picture icon > Look for the gear icon (Settings) > Accounts > Select your account > Remove Account.
    2. In your phone's settings, search for Accounts, Accounts & Sync, or similar > Select your account > Remove.
    3. Restart your phone and then sign in to Outlook again.

If the account is in the iPhone Mail app, update it here:

    1. Open Settings on the iPhone.
    2. Tap Mail.
    3. Tap Accounts.
    4. Select the Outlook/Hotmail account.
    5. Tap Account Settings or the Password field, depending on the iOS version.
    6. Enter the new Microsoft account password.
    7. Tap Done.
    8. Open the Mail app and confirm mail is syncing.

If the password was changed for a Microsoft account such as Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Live, the iPhone may prompt for the new password automatically after the change.

If the account is in Outlook for iOS instead of the Apple Mail app, Outlook for iOS will usually prompt for the latest password after the password is changed.

If syncing still fails after entering the new password, remove the email account and add it again.

To change the Microsoft account password itself, use https://account.microsoft.com, then go to Security and select Change Password.
