Hello Microsoft Azure for Education Support,

My name is [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed], and I am currently enrolled at the [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed], Tunisia.

I am contacting you regarding the Azure for Students offer, which includes the $100 Azure credit.

When I try to activate Azure for Students and click on “Start free”, I receive a message stating that I am not eligible for the offer.

However, one of my colleagues from the same university was able to successfully verify their student status and activate Azure for Students.

Therefore, I would like to know why my account is considered ineligible and whether there is an issue with the verification of my university account or academic status.

Could you please review my eligibility and advise me on the steps required to activate Azure for Students?

I can provide any additional information or proof of enrollment if necessary.

Thank you for your assistance.

    Dear @Mohamed Firas BEN AMOR,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that you're unable to activate the Azure for Students offer because your account is being marked as ineligible, even though another student from the same university was able to successfully verify and activate the offer.

Based on your description, this issue may require further review by the Azure for Education Support team, particularly if the academic verification process is unable to validate your student status or recognize your institution.

Before contacting Azure for Education Support team, I recommend confirming the following with your university's IT department or student affairs office:

    • Whether there are any known restrictions, verification requirements, or enrollment procedures specific to students at your institution
    • Whether there have been any recent changes to student account provisioning that could affect eligibility verification

Please note that this is a community forum where users help each other. I do not have access to approve Azure for Students subscriptions.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding!
