Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Dear @Irfan Hangad,
I hope you’re having a good day.
The fact that Outlook on the web is working correctly suggests that your mailbox and Microsoft 365 account are functioning normally. This makes the issue more likely to be related to the Classic Outlook desktop client rather than the service itself.
Could you please let me know:
- Does Outlook become unresponsive immediately when opening, or after a period of use?
- Do you receive any error messages?
- Are you using Classic Outlook for Windows?
As initial troubleshooting, I recommend:
- Start Outlook in Safe Mode:
- Press Windows + R
- Type
outlook.exe /safe - Press Enter
- If Outlook works in Safe Mode, disable any unnecessary add-ins and test again.
- Create a new Outlook profile:
- Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add
-
- Run a Quick Repair of Microsoft 365:
- Settings > Apps > Microsoft 365 Apps > Modify > Quick Repair
- Settings > Apps > Microsoft 365 Apps > Modify > Quick Repair
Please let me know the results of these steps, and I'll be happy to help you investigate further.
Warm regards,
