    Dear @Nady Adel,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that you're experiencing OneDrive sign-in and sync issues. Files stored in SharePoint are not syncing correctly to your local device, newly created Excel files remain in Upload Pending status, and after uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Office and OneDrive, you're now unable to sign in to OneDrive at all.

To better understand the issue, could you please help me with the following information:

    • Are you receiving any specific error message when attempting to sign in to OneDrive? If so, kindly provide me with a screenshot or the full error message so that I could have more information on this.
    • Is the issue occurring on only one device or multiple devices?
    • Are you able to access the same SharePoint files through a web browser?
    • I could see that your question is in the "For business" forum/tag, but to better support you, may I reconfirm: Is this a work/school account or a personal Microsoft account?
    • Have you attempted to reset OneDrive using the OneDrive reset command? If yes, did the issue persist?
    • Do you have sufficient free disk space available on your device?
    • Is your Windows device fully updated with the latest available updates?

Your confirmation would be very helpful in ensuring you receive the most suitable support!

If you’re able to share a bit more about your situation, I might be able to suggest some helpful next steps.

Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance. Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing how things are going!

Thank you for your time and patience.

For this SharePoint/OneDrive for Business sync and sign-in failure, use this order:

    1. Confirm the SharePoint library can still be synced.
      • Sign in to Microsoft 365 with the work or school account.
      • Open the SharePoint document library.
      • If Sync is missing, the library may not be configured for syncing.
      • If an administrator manages the library, check Library settings > Advanced settings > Offline Client Availability and make sure it is set to Yes.
    2. Verify the correct work or school credentials are being used.
      • Sign in to the SharePoint Online site first.
      • Use the same Microsoft 365 credentials that are associated with the library.
      • Select Keep me signed in when prompted.
    3. Run Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant.
      • This is specifically recommended for OneDrive sign-in problems caused by folder name conflicts or OneNote notebook sync issues.
      • In the tool, select OneDrive for Business > I need help syncing my OneDrive files.
    4. Repair Office before reinstalling again.
      • Repairing the Office installation is recommended before another uninstall/reinstall cycle and can resolve OneDrive for work or school issues.
    5. Reset OneDrive.
      • If the assistant does not fix the issue, reset OneDrive.
      • This can help when the problem is not caused by sync conflicts.
    6. If sign-in still fails, uninstall and reinstall OneDrive.
      • The documented sign-in troubleshooting path for OneDrive includes uninstalling OneDrive from Add or remove programs, then installing the latest OneDrive app again.
      • Resetting or uninstalling OneDrive does not remove cloud data.
    7. If the desktop app still cannot sign in, check broader sign-in blockers.
      • Confirm the account can sign in successfully.
      • Make sure the latest OneDrive version is installed.
      • Check whether a firewall, VPN configuration, or internet provider is blocking required OneDrive connectivity.
    8. If others can sync the same library but this device still cannot, reset Internet Explorer settings.
      • This is a documented troubleshooting step when custom Internet options interfere with sync.
      • Warning: resetting Internet Explorer removes all previous Internet Options customizations and cannot be undone.
    9. If the issue remains unresolved, ask the IT administrator to create a Microsoft support incident.
