I am getting messages at the top of documents that say "BILLING ISSUE There's a billing issue with your Microsoft 365 subscription. To avoid losing access please update the payment method." I think this has happened because you have connected my personal account billing with the law office I work for and now demanding payment for usage that is likely being paid for by the lawfirm. I do not know how to fix it because I do not know exactly what the problem is. I need to speak to a representative in the department that is sending me these threatening messages.

Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out.

You can check Services & subscriptions in your personal Microsoft account first to see whether Microsoft 365 shows a past-due payment or billing problem.

https://account.microsoft.com/services

Please note that personal and work Microsoft 365 accounts normally have separate subscriptions and payment methods, so your law firm's subscription should not automatically be charged through your personal account.

If you need to contact Microsoft Support, go to:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us

Select the product > Get Home Support > Type billing > Sign in to Contact Support > Select the product and then click Chat with support agent in web browser.

Thank you, the answer helped to clarify a portion of the problem insofar as billing procedure is concerned A check of the first site you sent was very helpful regarding the amount of space actually utilized. Conversely, the sites/suggested procedures I received from Microsoft were not at all helpful; and the various options the sites offered did not apply in this case.
