I am being billed every single month. 4 separate charges $40.96 every month. When I go into my account and look at my subscriptions there are none! I am not sure why I'm having reoccurring charges. You can never get through with customer service. I'm not sure what to do! I am a single mom on a fixed income and Microsoft is taking my money!

If you are certain that you purchased no subscriptions to Microsoft 365 ... and yet you have four charges for subscriptions ... somebody else has been purchasing subscriptions, and using your payment information to pay for them. What would you normally do if you saw unauthorized charges, from Microsoft or anyone else? Contact your payment card issuer or bank ASAP before you get more unauthorized charges.

    Hi, @Catherine Dill

If you don’t see this subscription under your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/services, please check a few things so the charge can be narrowed down:

    1. How did you get notified about the charge? (bank alert, email, etc.)
    2. What exactly does the charge description say in your statement?
    3. Do you have another Microsoft account (work, old email, family member) where your card might be added?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!

Use this path to identify the charges and stop future billing:

    1. Go to Manage your payments and select Investigate. This is the Microsoft path for unexpected charges and can help identify what the charge is for, including cases where the wrong Microsoft account was used.
    2. Check Services & subscriptions at https://account.microsoft.com/services with every personal Microsoft account that may have been used. A recurring subscription is one of the most common causes of monthly Microsoft charges.
    3. Check Order history for duplicate or repeated purchases of the same amount. If the charges appear close together, compare the last few months of Microsoft order history with bank statements to confirm whether these are true duplicate charges or a late payment plus the next on-time payment.
    4. If nothing appears in subscriptions or order history, another Microsoft account may be using the same card. Microsoft states that Payment options > Investigate can be used to search for other accounts using the card.
    5. If a subscription is found, open Manage for that subscription and turn off recurring billing or cancel it. Turning off recurring billing does not stop access immediately; the subscription continues until the expiry date shown in the account.
    6. If the charges are not recognized or no Microsoft account shows them, contact the bank or card provider immediately and report the payment method as compromised to prevent more charges. Disputing charges alone does not stop future fraudulent charges.
    7. If Microsoft support is still needed, go to Contact Microsoft Support, enter the problem, select Get Help, and then select Contact Support.
