We hosted a Microsoft Teams Webinar that has ended successfully.

As the webinar organizer, I am trying to download the Q&A report, but the expected Reports section and Download Q&A Report option are missing.

What I have verified:

  • I am the webinar organizer.
  • The webinar status is Ended.
  • Q&A was enabled and contains attendee questions and posts.
  • The webinar is visible in the new Teams Events experience.
  • I can access:
    • Overview
      • People & emails
        • Insights
          • Recordings
            • View recap
              • Q&A feed
              • I cannot see:
                • Reports tab
                  • Download button
                    • Export Q&A option
                      • Q&A Report (CSV)

Microsoft documentation indicates that webinar organizers should be able to download Q&A reports after the event. [support.mi...rosoft.com], [m365admin....sontek.net]

Please investigate whether:

  1. The Q&A export feature is disabled for our tenant.
  2. This is a known issue with the new Teams Events experience.
  3. Additional licensing or policies are required.
  4. The report can be retrieved manually from the backend. Screenshot 2026-09-09 160929 User's image User's image

    Hi,

From your screenshots, I can see that the webinar has already ended, Q&A was enabled and contains attendee interactions, and the event is visible in the new Teams Events experience. However, the expected Reports section does not appear to be available.

Before escalating the issue further, I would recommend trying the following steps:

    • Sign out of Microsoft Teams completely and sign back in using the organizer account.
    • Access the webinar from Teams on the web (Microsoft Edge or another supported browser) and check whether the Reports section appears there.
    • Verify that the issue occurs consistently across both the Teams desktop client and Teams on the web.
    • Ask your IT administrator to confirm that:
    • Q&A is enabled in the meeting policy assigned to the organizer.
    • The organizer's Teams license is active and assigned correctly.
      • No organization-specific restrictions have been applied to Teams meetings or events.

I also could not find any Microsoft documentation confirming that this behavior is a known issue in the new Teams Events experience. Because the experience shown in your screenshots differs from the documented workflow, the next recommended step would be to contact Microsoft Support so they can investigate the event on the service side and determine why the Q&A report was not generated or exposed for download.

If the report still does not appear after testing on Teams for web and signing back into the organizer account, I recommend opening a support case with Microsoft by following the steps outlined in Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn and providing the following information to assist with the investigation:

    • The webinar name.
    • The organizer account (UPN/email address).
    • The event date and time.
    • Confirmation that the behavior occurs on both the Teams desktop client and Teams on the web.
    • Screenshots showing the populated Q&A feed and the missing Reports section.

This information will help the support team determine whether the report can be recovered and whether there is a service-side issue affecting the event.

I hope this information helps clarify the situation. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know.

    Kind regards.
