    Hi,

What network error are you seeing—is it related to the IP connection type or an authentication failure?

If possible, please let me know the specific error message that appears when you try to access SMB.

    Thanks.

Some Windows 11 24H2/25H2 systems have duplicate machine SIDs, which also causes SMB sharing failures — even after uninstalling updates. This was confirmed by multiple users on Microsoft Q&A, where two identical machines could not share files due to identical SIDs after upgrading to 24H2
