Using the New Outlook for Mac features in business environments
The Solution / Fix:
You can force the backend server and the local UI engine to re-align and permanently fix the grid layout by toggling the Outlook interface mode:
- Revert to Legacy Outlook: In Outlook for Mac, go to the top Apple menu bar, click on Help, and select Revert to Legacy Outlook.
- Verify Layout: Let the application reload the classic interface. Check your calendar—your Sunday meetings will immediately display correctly, and the time slots will become fully interactive.
- Switch Back to New Outlook: Once the legacy calendar finishes its sync, click the Help menu again (or toggle the New Outlook switch in the top-right corner) to return to the modern interface.
Why this works: Toggling the app back to the legacy architecture forces Microsoft Exchange to rewrite your custom calendar day-mapping layout profile. When you toggle back to New Outlook, the client is forced to fetch the freshly corrected server-side profile, permanently fixing the Sunday "dead zone" bug.
