Hi,

Repeated pop-up on my computer screen that my subscription has been cancelled but that's not true. Please advise me on how to remove these notifications.

Kind regards,

Natasha

    Hi natasha ling,

If your Microsoft 365 subscription is active but Windows continues to display cancellation notifications, the message may be coming from cached account or licensing information rather than your current subscription status. The original report indicates that the subscription is still active, while the notification repeatedly states it has been cancelled.

You can try these additional checks:

    1, Check Windows notification settings

    • Go to Settings > System > Notifications
    • Review any notifications related to Microsoft 365 or Office and clear existing notification history if available

2, Ensure Office is up to date

    • Open an Office app
    • Go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now

If the notification continues after confirming the subscription is active, please share a screenshot of the pop-up (making sure to hide any personal information). That can help identify whether the message is coming from Microsoft 365, Windows, or another application using the account.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.

    Hi Natasha,

    1

    Open Word.

At the top right of Word, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then log back into Office, is your subscription then recognized correctly.

    2

If not, log into your Microsoft account on this link, check the expiry date listed on your subscription, is that listed correctly.

If not, go to the Payments and Billing section, is it indicated your payment has been processed correctly.
