How to delete a reoccurring Teams meeting that can't be cancelled.

I have a reoccurring Teams meeting that I cannot cancel the occurrence or series. When I try it comes up with this message:

Couldn't Find event. It may have been deleted.

Yet it is still present in my Calander and sends reminders to participants in the meeting.
