    Hello,

A personal Microsoft account by itself does not provide Global Administrator access. Global Administrator is an administrative role within a Microsoft organization, such as the organization created when you sign up for Microsoft 365 for business. You cannot enable this role through your personal account settings.

To use the provider’s integration, you need administrator approval in the Microsoft organization you want to connect. If you currently have only a personal account, here is the process:

    1. Check the provider’s requirements before purchasing anything. Ask whether the integration requires Microsoft 365 for business and which plan or services it needs. A request for Global Administrator approval alone does not tell us which subscription is required.
    2. Create a business organization if that is what the integration requires. Go to Microsoft 365 for business, select the plan confirmed by the provider, and follow the signup prompts to create a new organization. During setup, create your business username and password. For example, ******@yourbusiness.onmicrosoft.com. Keep these details for future sign-ins. See Microsoft’s signup guide. The screens can vary by plan and region.
    3. Sign in with the new administrator account. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center using the business account created during signup, and complete any requested security setup. Microsoft confirms that the person who signs up for a new Microsoft 365 business organization is automatically a Global Administrator. Simply having a business user account does not automatically give someone this role. See Assign admin roles in Microsoft 365.
    4. Connect the provider using that business account. Return to the provider’s integration setup and follow its instructions. When prompted for Microsoft administrator sign-in, use the new business administrator account. Review the application and requested permissions before approving. The exact connection steps depend on the provider. See Microsoft’s admin consent guidance.

Your personal account remains separate. This process does not convert it into a business account or automatically move its emails and files. Approval for the new business organization also does not grant access to your existing personal mailbox or personal OneDrive. Microsoft explains the distinction in Personal versus work or school accounts.

Could you share the provider’s name or its integration instructions, and whether you want to connect your existing personal emails/files or use new business services? That will help confirm whether this setup meets your goal.
