A few days ago, I got hacked on my account that I always play minecraft on. I am currently using my other account on microsoft to type this. The person who hacked me had changed my password, used another email that I do not know. They changed the email to send the code to *@omail.id. It only shows me the first two letters of the email. I searched up omail.id and it generates different emails you can use. I tried recovering my account but I did not have a security code at that time. I tried the automated recovery appeal but I did not have an xbox, skype, hotmail, etc. I tried everything I could until I stumbled upon the comment by Jordan Birnbaum in the Q&A. This the last thing I had in mind. I also play minecraft on a MacBook. What can I do to get my account back? Can a microsoft staff log out the person currently in the account and help me recover it?

I can't find the comment you are referring to. Can you provide a link to that Question/Comment?

Microsoft Support Agents can not unlock an account, reset your password, or change any Security Settings no matter what documentation you can present.

If you mean "Can I recover just my Minecraft account. Without being able to recover my Microsoft account?"

No. Minecraft Support generally cannot transfer a Minecraft license to a different Microsoft account.

I am sorry. As a long time Minecraft player I know that losing access to your account is more than just an inconvenience, it is heartbreaking.

Microsoft staff cannot log out the attacker for recovery purposes, send password reset links, or directly change account details. For Microsoft accounts, recovery must go through the official recovery flow.

Recommended path:

On a trusted device, first scan for malware before changing anything.
- Open Windows Security.
- Go to Virus and threat protection.
- Select Scan options > Full scan > Scan now.
- This matters because changing the password before removing malware can expose the new password again.
Start the Microsoft account hacked-account recovery process.
- Use the Sign-in Helper for hacked accounts. It asks for the email address or phone number and then shows the available self-help steps or an option to talk to an agent.
If access is still possible anywhere, review recent sign-in activity.
- Go to Security basics.
- Select Review activity.
- If suspicious activity appears in Unusual activity, select This wasn't me.
- If it appears in Recent activity, select Secure your account.
If sign-in becomes possible, immediately change the password.
- From Security basics, select Change password.
- Then review account settings such as connected accounts, forwarding, and automatic replies, because those settings may have been changed after the compromise.
If the account is blocked because of unusual activity, use the Outlook.com unblock flow through Sign-in Helper.

Important limits from Microsoft:

Support agents are not allowed to send password reset links.
Support agents are not allowed to access or change account details.
If two-step verification was turned on and none of the alternate verification methods are accessible, Microsoft cannot help recover the account.

Because the sign-in email was changed to an unfamiliar address, the correct next step is still the official hacked-account recovery process and Sign-in Helper. If that flow offers contact with an agent, that agent can guide the process, but cannot manually restore the account by changing security details.
