How do I schedule a meeting to happen once every 2 months

Currently, I am trying to do this on teams but there is not option. I have seen tips saying tick box does not repeat, but this box does not appear on my teams or outlook. When I click Recurring, it does not give me an option to select once every 2 months. Is this possible on teams?

    Hi @Liam Balasuriyar

Thanks for the detail. Based on my research, this is possible, it's just not one of the quick presets in the recurrence dropdown.

In Teams (and the new Outlook, which shares the same calendar), the "Does not repeat" checkbox from classic Outlook has been replaced by a dropdown. That's likely why you're not seeing a tickbox at all, newer builds don't use one.

    To get an every-2-months cadence:

    1. Start a new meeting and fill in the title, attendees, date, and time as usual.
    2. Click the recurrence field near the date/time, it defaults to "Does not repeat."
    3. Select Custom at the bottom of the list. This is separate from the Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly presets, so it's easy to scroll past.
    4. In the Custom panel, set "Repeat every" to 2 and the unit to Month(s).
    5. Choose an end condition, never, by a specific date, or after a set number of occurrences.
    6. Save/Send.

If Custom genuinely doesn't appear anywhere in your Teams client, try creating the meeting from Outlook on the web instead, it carries the fullest recurrence controls and will sync straight back to your Teams calendar. A missing Custom option usually points to an older or admin-managed build rather than a setting you're overlooking.

Please let me know if it's still not showing up after trying Outlook on the web, that would help narrow this down to a client or tenant configuration issue.
