Dear Customer Support Team,

I am writing to formally request a full refund for an automatic deduction made for my Microsoft 365 subscription on 29th August 2026.

I did not intend to renew this service, and I would appreciate it if you could process a refund of Rp 150.959 (IDR) back to my original payment method at your earliest convenience.

Please let me know if you require any additional account or transaction details to process this request.

Sign in to your Microsoft account here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

Look for the subscription, select Manage > Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

After cancellation, please note that it may take 3–5 business days for the refund to be reflected in your payment method.

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Select Microsoft 365 > Click 'Get home support'.

Type "Chat with an agent" from the text field and press Enter.

Click "Contact support" at the bottom.

Select the product you need help with.

To maximize the chance of approval, use the official cancellation flow first. Refund eligibility is determined automatically during cancellation.

Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy the Microsoft 365 subscription.
Go to Services & subscriptions at https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365
Select Cancel subscription or Upgrade or Cancel.
Review the cancellation page and continue with I don't want my subscription.
During cancellation, check whether a refund is offered. If the subscription qualifies, the refund option appears there automatically.

Key policy points:

Not all cancellations result in a refund.
In most cases, a refund may be available within 30 days of the initial purchase or before the first recurring billing date, whichever is sooner.
A refund of the most recent recurring billing charge may be available if cancellation happens within 30 days after payment. This right is limited to one time per Microsoft account, per subscription product.
For Microsoft 365 Basic, Personal, Family, OneDrive, and ClipChamp, prorated refunds are available only in certain countries. For all other countries, prorated refunds are not available.
Access to Microsoft 365 usually continues until the end of the current billing period if no refund is issued.

If Cancel subscription is not shown:

Verify the subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft. If it was bought through Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer, the refund must be requested from that seller.
Confirm the correct Microsoft personal account is signed in.
If Turn on recurring billing appears, the subscription is already set to expire and no further cancellation action is needed.
If there is an overdue amount, it must be paid before cancellation is allowed.

If the refund does not appear during cancellation or has not arrived after cancellation, use Microsoft support through Contact Microsoft Support and select Get Help, then Contact Support for billing assistance.
