On one of my gmail accounts, all emails between December 2025 and yesterday (August 3, 2026) have disappeared. They are not on Outlook on my macbook, not on my phone, not on my ipad, not on google.com. Nowhere. Not in deleted mail, not in archive, nowhere. Please, someone, please help!

    Hi NAN Ranch,

I understand how concerning it is to lose several months of email. Since the messages are also missing when you sign in directly to Gmail on the web, this is not limited to Outlook for Mac.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access the mailbox or restore its contents.

Because Gmail is the mailbox provider, please try the Gmail Message Recovery Tool, particularly if the messages may have been deleted after unauthorized account access. You may also seek further assistance through the Gmail Help Center or Google One Support if you have an eligible subscription.

Microsoft Support can investigate Outlook for Mac, but recovery of messages that are no longer present in Gmail would need to be handled through Google.

    1. Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the search bar provided on the page, type "Outlook issue" and press Enter.
    3. Click on the "Get Help" button that appears.
    4. Scroll down the page until you see and click on the "Contact Support" option.
    5. When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".
    6. For the category, choose "Outlook".
    7. Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".
    8. Confirm your personal email when prompted - this is the email Microsoft will use to communicate with you during and after the support session.
    9. Explain your situation clearly: Be concise but provide all the relevant details.

I hope the appropriate support team can help determine what happened and whether the messages can still be recovered.
