Try these checks in Outlook on the web, in this order:

- Open Deleted Items.
- If the messages are there, select them and choose Restore.
- If using Outlook on the web, if the messages are not there, select Recover items deleted from this folder at the top of Deleted Items. If the missing emails appear, select them and choose Restore.
- Note: items removed from Deleted Items are recoverable for 30 days.
- Check Junk Email
- Open Junk Email.
- If the messages are there, select the message and choose Report > Not junk.
- Junk email is retained for 30 days before automatic deletion.
- Check Archive
- Open Archive.
- If the messages are there, select them and choose Move to > Inbox.
- Check Focused Inbox / Other
- If Focused Inbox is enabled, select the Other tab.
- If the messages are there, select them and choose Move to > Move to Focused inbox.
- Check the message list filter
- Above the message list, select Filter and set it to All.
- If a filter is applied, messages can be hidden from view.
- Check inbox rules
- Go to Rules settings and review any rules that might move messages out of Inbox.
- Edit or delete any incorrect rule.
- Viewing and editing rules requires a computer.
- Check recent sign-in activity
- If the messages disappeared unexpectedly, review the account’s recent activity for unusual sign-ins.
If the inbox is still empty after these steps, use Outlook.com support from Help in Outlook on the web, or the Outlook.com Community.
