I am trying to restore my one drive and shows multiple dates files/item quantities next to it but they are blank. I tried logging out and back in and another browser. I tried to restore them but the select button does not appear for them. How can I restore this data?1000009026

    Hi leslie lee,

Based on what is shown, the Restore your OneDrive page is detecting a restore point ("23 days ago - 8/12/2026 (6)"), but the list of individual activities is not being displayed underneath it. As a result, there is no item available to select for the restore process.

You may want to try the following quick checks:

    1. Click the arrow next to"23 days ago - 8/12/2026 (6)" and wait a minute to see if the activity details load.
    2. Press Ctrl + F5 to force a full page refresh and reload the restore history.
    3. Try accessing the restore page from a different network connection (for example, a mobile hotspot) to rule out a temporary connection-related loading issue.
    4. Check whether the missing files are still available through Version History or directly within your OneDrive folders, as this can sometimes provide access to content without using the full restore feature.

If the restore point continues to show only the date and item count with no activity details, it would be best to contact OneDrive Support and provide the screenshot. The image clearly shows that the restore point is present, but the associated activity list is not being rendered, which will help with further investigation. Hi Leslie,

Good day. The dates and numbers you're seeing mean OneDrive has recorded activity, but the activity details aren't loading. That's also why you don't get a Select option - there isn't an activity available for OneDrive to select.

I wouldn't keep trying different browsers at this point. I'd check whether the files are still recoverable another way first.

    1. Open OneDrive > Recycle bin and check for the missing files/folders. If you find them, select them and choose Restore. Microsoft says deleted files in a personal OneDrive are normally kept there for 30 days.
    2. If they're not there, go back to Settings > Options > Restore your OneDrive. Try moving the slider to a date before the files disappeared. OneDrive's restore feature is designed to undo file/folder activity from the previous 30 days.
    3. Don't select Restore yet if the activity list remains completely blank. Normally, selecting an activity should automatically select that activity and the changes after it. If the activity feed is blank despite the dates showing, the restore page isn't loading the information needed to perform the restore.
    4. Also check My files and search for one of the missing file names. If you know the approximate date or folder where a file was stored, search for that specifically. Microsoft recommends checking the correct Microsoft account as well, since files can sometimes be in a different OneDrive account.

One more important point, don't delete or empty anything from the Recycle bin yet, while you're trying to recover the data. If the files are not in the Recycle bin and the Restore page continues showing dates/counts but no selectable activities, I'd recommend contacting Microsoft OneDrive support rather than repeatedly attempting the restore. The activity is clearly being recorded, as shown in your screenshot, so the problem may be with the restore interface/account data rather than the files themselves.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Jhun
