How to change a personal 365 account to a non-profit/charity account?

We have a personal accoun t - but it should be for a non-profit charity account

    Hello

    Nonprofit account is considered "commercial" or "work/school" account by Microsoft's definition, while a personal subscription is on the general consumer side.

    Microsoft's commercial and consumer products are from two separate ecosystems, so there is no way to simply do a switch.

    You will need to sign up/create the nonprofit account, and then cancel your personal plan via your personal account. Creating one doesn't automatically cancel the other one.

    To create a nonprofit account with Microsoft, go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/nonprofits Click on Get Start and then apply from there.
