I would like to understand out of the box, what is available per user when we purchase a Dynamics 365 Enterprise license?

Explain the product / apps available
Explain the features each user have available
Explain the limitations not based on security roles but what Professional or Premium offers vs Enterprise

    Dear @Scott Young,

    Thank you for your question.

To provide an accurate answer, could you please clarify which specific Dynamics 365 Enterprise license you're referring to?

Dynamics 365 is licensed by individual applications (such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Business Central), and the available editions and user rights vary significantly between products. For example, Sales includes Professional, Enterprise, and Premium editions, while Business Central uses Essentials, Premium, and Team Members licensing.

Once the specific product is identified, it will be easier to explain:

    • Which applications are included.
    • What capabilities each licensed user receives out of the box.
    • The key differences between Professional, Enterprise, and Premium (where applicable).
    • Any licensing limitations that are unrelated to security roles.

In the meantime, Microsoft's official Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide is the most comprehensive reference: Dynamics 365 Licensing Guidance

I would be happy to provide a more detailed breakdown once the specific Dynamics 365 product is confirmed.
