I am trying to sign in to teams and the rest of the windows apps with my work/school account, but it doesn't show me the password screen, it only shows me the 404 http error and then when I close that it shows me error 2603. When I try using my personal account or on the web versions of the apps, it works flawlessly.

If anyone knows a surefire solution please share it.

Thanks

    Hello Jawad,

To help narrow down the issue, might I confirm the following:

1/ Might I confirm whether this issue occurred from the first sign-in attempt, or was the account previously working normally on this device before it started happening?

2/ Besides Teams, do you see the same behavior in other Microsoft 365 desktop apps such as OneDrive, Outlook, Word, or Excel?

3/ Could you share a screenshot of the HTTP 404 error and Error 2603? Please remove any personal information before posting it publicly to protect your personal information.

4/ Is this account provided by your school or organization, and are any other users experiencing the same issue?

Besides, I'd like to share a few troubleshooting steps and some screenshots I prepared to help you check whether they can identify the cause of this behavior.

1> Reconnect the Work or School account in Windows

Go to: "Settings" > "Accounts" > "Access work or school"

If the account shows any warning, error, or"Sign in again" message:

    • Select the account->Disconnect it-> Restart the PC.
    • Reconnect the work/school account.
    • Try signing in to Teams again.

    2> Clear cached Microsoft credentials

    • Open: "Control Panel" > "Credential Manager" > "Windows Credentials"
    • Remove entries related to: Office: Teams/ OneDrive/ AzureAD/ ADAL/ MicrosoftOffice.

    Then:

    • Restart the PC.
    • Launch Teams or another Microsoft 365 app and sign in again.

Note: You may need to sign back into Microsoft applications after removing the cached credentials.

I hope I've been able to help in some way. Please keep me posted

    Kind regards,
